GT Bleaching Cream Product Review
So I really wish I have a perfect skin to brag.. Okay 'nuff with self pitying. Tell you what, I have actually experienced acne back in my teeny days (which i do not want to remember anymore haha) and sometimes (I mean more often than not!), the pimples may be long gone but the scars would actually remain. Luckily, there is a wide array of products available in the market that may (or may not) help us lighten up our scars - the downside is, most of them are actually very pricey. And just like any other conscious women, I am a big worrier in terms of how strong or harsh the product would be as this will definitely lead in skin reddening (boo).
GT Bleaching Cream is actually the first cream based product I have ever used for scars (I used to rely with exfoliating soaps) and tell you what, I am very impressed. I was mega hesitant to use it when I bought it last year but the Sales lady was so d*#gm good that I got convinced to try it out.
Sorry for the poor quality of the photo but it actually looked superb on my camera. Anyway, let me just write what the description says for you: GT Bleaching cream is a night beauty treatment. It combines a rich formulation of a very mild skin whitening agents and antioxidant. It has Vit. E & C that helps restore and rejuvenate skin. Reduces acne and pimples and helps in removing dead skin, black heads, white heads and wrinkles. Suitable for sun damaged skin and other skin problems.
Whoever would read it would actually be enticed to give it a try. Another plus is that, this product is probably the cheapest jewel I have ever found. Haha.
The product comes in a usual packaging and I guess for the price I pay, I shouldn't really be asking for more:) The consistency of the product is really creamy and a little smelling but tolerable. Another thing that you must know also is that it stings a little once applied to your face so let's follow the direction of what the sales lady told me, APPLY LIGHTLY AND ONLY TO THE PROBLEMATIC SPOTS. Believe me, you wouldn't enjoy a red faced You. I myself had to stop using this last year after 4 days of continuous application because of the reddening of my skin although it isn't exactly a skin irritation but more to the fact that my work leans towards meeting gazillions of people and I am simply not comfortable facing them with peeling face hehe.
Would I recommend it? Well, I bought it again this year so it is a sure yes especially for those who are a little scared to try on new cheap products. This product actually does what it promises. The only downside may be the reddening of the skin but other than, I am telling you it works. We just have to keep in mind though that "Too much of something is bad" so apply moderately. One piece of advice, apply it first into 1 area rather that applying it to your whole face (which was my biggest mistake the first time I used it last year) just so it'll be easier to hide the redness with makeup.

for how long did you use it before you saw effects?
ReplyDeleteThe peeling starts after 2 nights. But it varies from skin type to skin type. Say for my sister, it took her 4 nights before her pimple scars start peeling off. Hope it helps!:)

ReplyDeleteIt depends but for me, i normally stop applying when it is in its severe peeling off stage already. so that takes about 5-7 days straight application. But it also because my work is client based. i dont feel comfortable facing clients with red face :)
DeleteHey I'm using it for like 1 week now and nothing happens. Is it normal? But i only use GT Bleaching Cream ang GT Moisturizer only other than that wala nkong ibang ginamit. Should i use the Soap ang the Toner? Tnx for the reply Miss ^___^

ReplyDeleteYea, i try it on my face, mahapdi lang siya. I leave it overnight, then on morning i use the moisturizer.
ReplyDeleteI applied it overnight, and just after 6 hours my face was very red na.. one night ko pa Lang nagagamit grabe na and redness mg face ko.. I feel declined to use it further for I don't know the depth of the redness effect on my face. I hope Hindi mangitim face ko. I'll use it for three more days, I hope it doesn't cause harm since originally mputi tlga ako.. pls tell me this is normal
ReplyDeleteI normally just put it on the dark areas. So for my face, i only put it on my left cheek where my old scars are very prominent. I hope you didnt put it entirely on your face? :'( If you see my cheeks now, you wouldnt see any dark spots anymore..
Deletei used it before.. bale two weeks straight sa under arms ko. ok naman pero nangitim un paligid ng underarm ko sobra kaya inistop ko xa. 2wiks n akong hindi.mg lalagay pero maitim parin ung paligid ng underarms ko so start n naman ako yesterday hoping n mag peel bumalik n s dating skin ko. pano ba to? any suggestions? worried much baka hindi n bumalik sa dati ung kulay.

DeleteIt is also possible that you're not hiyang with the product or your skin may be too sensitive cos it varies big time depending on the skin type. Try Orange soap, i read very good reviews about it and that's what i personally use as well.

ReplyDeleteHi Ivyne, that's a weird face skin reaction. I suggest you stop using it and let it rest for awhile. If the puffiness didnt go away after 2 days, then seek a derma's advise na.

ReplyDeleteI started using this a month ago, and I can say it is effective, my skin lightened and my pimples and acne gradually gone. 2 weeks of peeling off, it's ok now my face looks clear..tnx GT :)

Deletegreat product and highly recommended. halos lahat ng expensive anti acne nasubukan ko na pero GT bleaching cream lang ang ginamit ko and now wala nako ginagamit pa even soap di na ako masyado particular basta at night mag apply lang ako ng pea size ng gt bleaching cream.

I can't even sleep for weeks sobrang hirap mkarns ng LDR tas since then dahil sa stress and depression tlgang nagkabreak out ako sa nuo and sometimes cystic pimps sa cheeks pero hindi talga ako mapimps tlgang pati katwan face ko ramdm ung epekto ng sitwsyon ko anyways, pinapakialamn ko ung mga pimps ko kaya pag gumagaling na nag iiwan ng scars sobrang dami tlga namublema tlga ako nung mga time na un ang dami ko sinubukan na prod. Na nirerecommend ng kawork mates ko i even tried shark oil effective pero sobrang tapang so i stop isang beses ko lang gnmit then ung cmate ko nung college recommend this GT cream prod. Then I agree tlga sa cnv ng cmate ko tlga effective tlga. Ito ung naging sagot sa prob. Ko kasabay ng mga prob. Ko sa pimps nasanay na din ako sa LDR situation namin ni bf kasi inisip ko papanget lang ako kapag inistress ko sarili ko kaya ito ok na ako pati face ko and kami going strong and stronger pa din:)
ReplyDeleteI applied GT cream at night then I let it stayed overnight and rinse it in the morning when I wake up with GT carrot soap then you will notice na mainit parang nistretch skin mo that's my 1st day of using then on the 2nd day you will xp severe redness and tlgang pakirmd mainit pero ok lang binabalewala ko kasi after 2days on my 3rd day it will start peeling off dati nung unang gamit ko after 3days sya namamalat pero nung sanay n skin ko after 2days na lang what i like about this prod. Is tlgang iba sya mamalat sa skin ko as malalaki ung pag peel off ng skin ko then kapag naalis mo na ung mga pamamalat u'll feel relieved na sa init ng face mo and mapapancn mo naglalighten ung scars pag unang beses mo palang gamit yan mapapancn mo pero kapag part n sya na beauty sec. Mo regular mo ng gingamit mapapancn mo mawawala ng tuloyan mga bakas ng scars ng pimps mo and puputi pa at kinis face mo magnda tlga kasi pag ka lumalabas ako na iinit nagpipinkish cheeks ako or namumula mistisa i applied everytime i felt na kailngan ko for example feeling ko ang dry ng skin ko nag lalagay ako uhmmm may 2 times a month a mag apply ng GT i dont use the GT moisturizing cream pero sabila good din daw with moisturizing cream pero hindi ko cnubukan kasi i put moisturizing cream lang after the peeling part and i used nivea moisturizing cream un kasi meron ako from aust. Nung nagtourist ako just last yr. Sa bf ko :) pero nung waley namn ako moisturizing cream d ako naglalagay tlga pero advice ng marmi dpat may moisturizer tlga ^_^ bumili lang namn ako ng moisturizer kasi dry ang skin ko sa aust. I dont know if i'm going to do it kasi i have not that dark under arm but i wanna get rid of it it's kinda really a problem so someone says that GT cream mixed it with GTmoisturizing cream spf60 and apply it to the dark areas of under arm effective daw ^_^ uhmmm ayan po pinag iisipan ko now and promise i'll let you knw kapag cnubukan ko po ;) thnx again ang daldal ko :)

ReplyDeleteHi last last year nag try ako mg GT,then whole face ko nagredness and napansin ng mga kaofis ko so inistop ko. Then yestrday bumili ako pra naman sa scars ko since bleaching cream sya baka maglighten and tnry ko din sa pimples marks ko para mawala. last night ko lang inapply ng pepeel and ampula na nya. pero ung mga part lang na meron darkspot. Dko kasi magamit sa whole face maganda sana if wala pasok para sa bahay lang. magugulat kasi sila ang pula
